Those looke awesome Bruce.. nice to see other boat people in here
Hmmm, makes me wonder where my friend got the models he sent me now since I have the same Hamina class missile boat and the Iver Huitfeldt class frigate as well as some other ship models (a Steregushchiy class corvette, and an Admiral Gorshkov-class frigate) as scenery objects and was thinking of making them AI and drivable also in my new scenery. Nice, saves me the time now though.
Best, Michael
Is the RHIB part of the model or separate?
Fly Navy/Army
USN SAR
DUSTOFF/ARMY PROPS
The first almost looks Norwegian
They all look awesome......... but I'm a WW2 buff. Have started scratching my head on how to build an LST. I've never done anything beyond a little LCM so far. Wish I could keep up with you guys and gals !
Yeah, some similarities with the new Norwegian KNM Fridtjof Nansen class frigates, albeit the Norwegian ships has a much bigger Aegis radar mast and a lower superstructure.

Great looking ships!
i7-4770K 4.4 Ghz - ASUS z87 PRO - Corsair H100i - 16 gig Kingston Beast DDR3 2166 Mhz - Gainward GTX 1070 GS GLH - CX 750M PSU - CoolerMaster HAF X case
Looking good. Damn good. This is great! when I started into the ships project 2 years back , there were what, 7 carriers, 2 cruisers, a Fletcher or 2, some liberty ships, 2 New Jersey's, the Soviet ship pack and a U-boat...
Now look at the picture, and more ships coming every day! This is great. For my self, FSX would not have nearly the appeal with out the naval/ combined operations aspect.
Love the Finnish Corvette. Back in the U/L que (no screens, have to get those latter. part of the holdup is finding time to fire up the sim and collect the screencaps.) are a Skjold, Pansio, Pajomha, Nanuchka, OSA I and II, and a number of other "Baltic combatants'. The FSX Navy's are looking pretty good! Another chap at CBFS was working up a very nice looking Portsmouth with traffic files, spotted a few of my ships on the go in that, hope it gets released. Victorious must be getting close(Hi Skippy).
The naval future is looking very bright indeed.
Say what you want, but I think that stealthy design is the best thing to come upon warships in a long time. Smoother surfaces, way less deck clutter...dead sexy!
She is, we're making a half a***d attempt to release her at/around the same time as the Bucc S2, this may or may not work!Victorious must be getting close(Hi Skippy).
The naval future is looking very bright indeed.
Incidentally if you'd like more realistic AI traffic search for 'Henrik Nielsen' at Avsim or Simviation, he's done a load of new commercial shipping models along with various routes for them.
Talking of ships........ the keel is laid for this baby.....
