    Only Time I Fly

    I basically fly when I'm making missions and campaigns.I'm usually always working on something not only missions.When I do fly for fun it's usually the DOA Campaign,AF=Midway missions or the DCG Campaigns.Non of the DCG Campaigns are stock anymore,I redid the AVG,Guadalcanal,New Guinea and Bouganville43 Campaigns and enjoy them alot more.For Guadalcanal I have 3 campaigns.
    1)USMC from August 1942 to the end of January 1943.
    2)USMC from Feb.1943.
    3) USAAF starting Jan 1943

    I have also made a few which I enjoy-Japan1945 from the US side,CATF,Rabaul,Truk,Solomons and I'm working on some Korean campaigns.

    When not working on CFS2 I work on other simulators doing missions and tweaking things.

    As you can see I don't have much time to fly but I enjoy the other things.

    And of course I work on my Model RailRoad.

    Hi Talon,

    Thanks for all the great missions - I really enjoy flying them.

    Just one question: Do the Marianas missions in the new library supercede the ones in the old archive? They appear to be quite different. The ones in the archive are flown by the US and the IJN, while the newer ones are from the US side. I recently re-uploaded a number of mission packages by various authors from the archive to the new library. I wasn't sure what to do with your old Marianas package, so it's still sitting in the old archive, no longer accessible.

    Cheers,

    Kevin

    Since my re-entry in the cfs2 stratosphere, I haven't touched a joystick yet... I've spent almost all my time just slewing around . Flying feels sooo slooow now

    Yeah, well. I actually got tired of ribeye steak and ice cream, after having it for dinner for about 2 weeks straight.

    As soon as you get this world-building stuff out of your systems, there is a neverending air war going on out there. The boss keeps telling me he's glad I came back, he needs people like me.

    Not that I'm complaining about the work you dirt grubbers are doing...:salute:

    kdriver,

    The original Marianas was the first big mission pack I did and I was still learning things about mission building.The one I did acouple of years ago is alot different because I was able to find more information about the Marianas.I also think some o the missions are better.

    You can put up the IJN side if you want but I'm not sure where everything is for it anymore.Alot of old planes and ships were used back then.Remember it was done in 2003.

    I put a post in the forums about a year ago about redoing the IJN side but there were no replies and I decided there was no interest.

    Thanks Talon, I'll upload the IJN missions.

    By the way, it looks like the archive has been turned off completely.

    Model Railroad

    Hi all;

    Talon, speak of kindred spirits........I too am a model railroader. Kewel. Sometimes I find it hard to find balance. I'm either deeply immersed in CFS2 or the railroad. I guess I should do other things as well, but darn it, at this age, I'm like a kid with all my toys around me. I find that these two hobbies offset each other nicely and enjoy them both immensely.

    I've still got the old DCG campaigns and every now and then feel the urge to install them again. Time ain't on my side. There's sooo-o-o-oooo much to do and no time to do it in.
    :isadizzy:

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers;
    Great to be here......great to be anywhere
