    Most excellent...congrats!
Basic Flying Rules: "Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there."

Oh that's fantastic! The greatest joy I have in running my own aircraft rental and training business is seeing people in the local community discover the joy of piloting their own airplane! It's just an experience you can't put a price tag on!

Congratulations, and welcome to the fraternity!

I'd like to add my congratulaltions as well. Did you take someone special up with you right after passing the check ride? It was tradition where I got my PPL.
I took my wife up for a little flight.

Thanks, guys! I was going to take my mother up, but the checkride actually made me feel pretty sick. That will have to wait for another day. Sadly, it seems that I will not get to exercise my privileges as a private pilot before I get to college because I leave in two days. I'll just jump to my IFR training at Riddle. I'm really excited to get to fly passengers for the first time! As my examiner said, I got my "license to learn". :salute:

As for the TFR... Go ahead and restrict my home airport. It'll be changing shortly!
