Great repaints again G. I see that both engines still use the same texture, which will make camouflage schemes difficult. However this is hardly noticeable on your spooky skin

    That's the only drawback Huub.
Spooky had the South East Asia camo pattern with different patterns on each nacelle that I can't reproduce using the existing model. Thanks for the thumbs up though.

The ole Spookster dose look snazzy , as for the polished metal finish , just like the Wigram RNZAF Museums hanger queen .. and returned to the dress when it carried the Queenie around the NZ in the early 1950s .

Don't worry G, I really wonder how many will notice. I know it as I did quite some repaints for he original version. I love the details you added, like the rusty water coming from one of the hinges of the cargo door, the greasy engines and the great detail in the worn paint.

Really looking forward to "inspect" this skin as I it contains quite a few "tricks" I want to examine more closely.

    Cheers,
    Huub

Update on Manfred Jahn C-47 release.

Manfred will be away from the project for a bit longer.
This could not be helped and Manfred thanks everyone for their patience while the project is on a brief hold. This will not be a prolonged delay, just a short time.

Looks like tower is going to spin us..."Ladies and gentlemen...this is your captain...there will be a slight delay........"

In the meantime feel free to PM me with questions or just post up your thoughts here.

    Thanks everyone....G

Yeah, I'll try too. But I doubt I'll succeed; had to get a new bucket for my drool catcher.

Barf bag doubles as drool container....

As a gesture of fairness, I'm parking the DAK for a bit and going to afterburners on the new scenery.

Nah...the Eastern Sierra stuff is part time personal WIP. It may evolve into something in the future...don't know about that yet.

The real scenery project is not in this area. Can't say where, but when it's released you'll be able to get it.

things have been a bit hectic on this side of the globe (and will remain so for a while longer), but I did do another C-47, this time of Bush Pilots Airways of Cairns, Australia:

I love that big bold B on the tail! Still a few things to sort, but nearly there.
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

Jan Kees when you are in the mood for a challenge..... I just finished a repaint of the PH-DAT in the 1954-1960 KLM colours. Amazingly this aircraft still flies in Indonesia with the military registration AF4667 and is used for training and para-jumping.

edit: I understand the aircraft is still flying, but currently owned by the Indonesian Transport Museum.
