A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Skins - American

Description: KM P40Fv1 68FS USAAF by UncleTgt

This is a couple of repaints for K Malinowskis Curtiss P40Fv1 for CFS 2. These repaints depict a/c from 68 Squadron USAAF operating out from Henderson, Guadacanal, during early 1943.

"209" 2Lt Lucien B Schuler (7 victories) APR43.

"208" Capt Kenneth M Taylor (2 kills Pearl Harbour, 1 more whilst on Guadacanal) JAN43.

To install, unzip the download to a temporary folder. Use as replacement textures with the relevant KM_40F_V1 model as appropriate.

Thanks to: K Malinowski for the original aircraft, and Kelticheart for his prop bitmaps & exhaust effects.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.

This is a set of repaints for K Malinowskis Curtiss P40Fv1 & P40Mv3 for CFS 2. These repaints depict a/c from 44 Squadron USAAF ("Vampire Squadron") operating out from Fighter 2, Guadacanal, & throughout the Solomons during 1943.

P40F 111 1 Lt Jack Bade, Munda AUG43

P40M 125 Capt Joseph Lesicka, Munda AUG43

P40M 126 Capt Frank Gaunt, Fighter 2 Guadacanal JUL43

To install, unzip the download to a temporary folder. Use as replacement textures with the relevant KM_40F_V1 or KM_P40M_V3 model as appropriate.

This is an aircraft that badly needed a new suit of clothes for the Pacific. Well done! :ernae:

I wonder how the Packard-Merlin held up in these conditions...I know that the Brits were having problems in their Spitfires with the lubrication freezing in their constant-speed propeller hubs...

I already put the P-40f in my USAAF Campaign in the Solomons.As it progresses the P-40m will be used.
