Hey Jan...those are awesome. I'm working on the wing rivets now. Update coming.

With Manfred's permission I am re-working the bumps for the C-117. Also look for the C-47 Skytrain at some point. This is definitely a worthy model.
I just downloaded Jankees "Ken Borek"...mannnn it's really nice. The slow start with these props is just too good. Nice one JK.

I did! I did see you!Attachment 91852
I should of toured there too in my Yellow "Follow Me" Jeep.
Ohhhh....there I am!!!!!
Thanks G and Jan for some awesome repaints. Thanks Manfred and team for a payware quality aircraft that's stunning and freeware! :salute:
Hey Butch... I actually used a jeep as a follow me in one of my old videos.

Thought you guys might like a sneak preview of the M Jahn C-47. I'm working on the skins now, and developing a comprehensive paint kit. So far I've added wing rivets and an enhanced bump map. WIP shots...
Caveat: I'm aware this is a civilian paint on the wrong C-47 type, but I couldn't resist. We'll wait and see what Manfred puts together for the release...maybe a civie and military version.

Fantastic Piedmont colors on that 47, ********!
no, I did not try red & yellow, because I thought they were black & white. Is this colorblindness striking again?
The props are on C117_1.dds
Great shots of C-GGKG guys, thanks for posting.
G, I was planning some aussie C-47 paints for the C-117, but perhaps it will be better to wait? Piedmont looks great!

I might wait J...I don't know what all Manfred has planned for the re-release, but I know for sure the paint kit will be extensive. Everything is layered so lots of flexibility. The wing rivets and new bump maps will be there too. You will have a lot more to work with.
I think the wing rivets are developed enough for me to transfer them to the C-117. I'll re-work the PSD, make a new bump set and upload the mods.
The wing rivets look much, much better on the C-47. This mod will really improve the C-117...as if it's not great already.
I gotta admit...I like this airplane. For a freeware it really, really doesn't suck. lol
Color blind painter...that cracks me up.

Having a little bit of fun "G" with the Chuting Stars! Still tweaking FSX, so not as smooth just yet. Haven't create a profile for the aircraft so I'm just winging it for now. Sever crosswinds on landing with gust up to 25 knots. Oh, there's a mouse running on the wing, he won't be there long!
