MDLC not working

When I type the mdlc thing in the command.exe, it says it doesn't find the DictGuid.txt file. Does anyone know why?

I found the only way I could make MDLC work was to put a copy of cmd.exe in the same folder as MDLC. You can then double-click on it, and type in MDLC and the parameters at the C:\MDLC prompt.

If you are mostly using MDLC to convert FS2004 aircraft model files to either FS2002 or CFS2; I also recommend downloading a Windows front end for MDLC named MK_mdlc. It lets you do the conversion without having to type in all of the prameters at a command prompt; and to set visual model shining. You extract the MK_mdlc files into the same folder as MDLC.
