That's a good looking repaint. Think you could do the same thing for the static helicopter. It's made from the same helicopter I think. Roger-Wilco-66 is the person who modified it and sent it to me.

Very Nice repaint is this for the Jean-Marie GMAX Bell? I had to google GMAX BELL in order to familiarize myself with it as I don't remember the GMAX Bell.

    Looks very nice.

When I click the links, all I see is a blank page that says this "There is nothing here to show you (no permission, all entries hidden, etc)"

I havent been very active on these forums lately, could this be why?

No that's not the problem.... The paints were uploaded this afternoon......They should be available later this evening

    Ah! Ok, gotcha. :salute:

What is the most up-to-date Bell 47 for these paints? There are so many updates/conversions floating around... I'm currently using the conversion by Danny Garnier.

I'm another huge MASH fan - cant wait to have some fun with this and the awesome sceneries!

The repaints will work on all the GMAX Bell 47 Helicopters.....

Nice repaint, that really compliments the MASH scenery for the static version of Jean Marie's great Bell 47.

The repaint will not work on the flyable version, because I baked all the solid colors and different texture maps into three large texture sheets for the static version to reduce the drawcalls. That makes it essentially a new model with it's own texture maps. The flyable version is a FS9 design and made heavy use of solid colors which are problematic in FSX and will degrade the performance.

It is no problem to convert the altered textures back to the original texture maps , though. Just locate the original maps and copy the altered part over it and save it.

    Cheers,
    Mark

    Repaint for static Bell H-13

After about 10 attempts, I finally have a reasonably decent looking MASH repaint for the static helicopter found in trucker's Kimpo and my Aid Station.
The one texture file is attached to this post. All you need to do is unzip and drop into the texture file of the respective scenery/texture folder. Well that worked for me.

Well, the repaints just keep coming. I'm attaching another for the static Bell H-13. I made the MASH lettering a little larger and replaced the Red Cross with the Medical Corps logo.

So, I had a little fun and used Trucker17's excellent repaint as inspiration for my own version of the MASH chopper. New interior/panel texture and gauges, new base texture paint (weathered - using some elements of Trucker17's like the military insignia) new rear firewall, and gave the pilot a leather flight jacket. MASH chart on right seat inside. Still a work in progress.

Edit: still cant get the darn manifold pressure gauge working - actually none of the MP gauges I've tried seem to work...anyone know why?

BTW, I'm pretty sure I'm driving Radar NUTS with all the flight testing around the camp.
