    Giuli's Baltimore for CFS2 question

I'm sure I'm not the only one who converted this Baltimore to see how it looked in CSF2. So I wonder, has someone here checked if the bomb-door open/close after the conversion? If so I would like to know before I dig into the SCASM business. The readme file says it should operate with the tail hook command.

After converting the model, all the control surfaces worked properly and the landing gear operated correctly. However, no luck with the bomb bay doors. BTW, your skins and panels are great, thanks for sharing them with us.

    Bomb doors on Guili Baltimore

I have a conversion where the bomb doors open by using the D key. I also have a panel with the Mosquito bomb sight inspired by your panels. Peperez sent me a new Model, aircraft, and DP file. Pepe seems to gone off the grid since January. If you would like to see my conversion let me know.

    Martin Baltimore MK.V for CFS2 !!

Francesco Giuli made a series of very good FS9 Baltimores a while back. Peperez kindly allowed me to use his CFS2 conversion of this beauty to set up a package together with my textures. Something to play with during the weekend.

    Thanks so much!

The Baltimore is a wonderful bird in so many ways. All it needed was a nice new paint job. Now there are four. Thanks Morton!

Glad you liked it. Giuli actually made a MK2, 3 and 4 version also of the Baltimore. I might upload these also when I have some time to do the paints. And although Gaucho_59 made a nice (and pretty accurat) 1024 panel for it, I would maybe like to add a 1680 widescreen panel for it later on.

    Necessery alert

This plane is no Cessna. Take care at take off and follow the Read Me instructions. Like the real thing, it has a strong right torque.

    Good luck!

    F. Giulli Baltimore Mk.5 CORRECT DP

The right Baltimore DP has four fixed Browning .303 rear firing machine guns. I sent it by E-Mail but, probably, Morton didn't get it. I'll upload the fix here.

    Peperez,

I included this with the original upload, left it in a separate folder, and added a readme for you.

The MkIV and MkV had two .5 Brownings in a Martin turret, it was only the MkIII that had four .303s in a Boulton Paul "Defiant" type turret

Thank you Morton, thank you Pepe, top types.

Sorry, you're wrong! The Baltimore has two kinds of rear defensive weapons: a swivel or a turret mount with one, two or four machine guns AND four FIXED .303 Brownings. They also have FOUR FIXED Brownings at the wings firing forward. You need to study a little more, dear friend! Here is a good beginning:

I hope you enjoy your lesson!
