    Coronado Islands

There is a small group of islands off the coast of Baja California just south of the U.S. - Mexico border, the Coronado Islands, (not to be confused with the city and naval base) that are clearly visible from any high spot in San Diego, meaning airplanes too, that are not in FSX. Does anyone know of a place where this scenery might be available? The sea looks a little empty without them.

makes me wonder if they pop out of the ocean when detailed mesh is there? If they are already represented with detailed mesh, Bing has some good sat imagery, would be easy to reproduce them either thru landclass or photoscenery

Doesn't matter the mesh, because the ocean will override it. Redo the water to expose where the islands are, then add some mesh and some landclass and they should pop up from nowhere.

Doesn't surprise me a bit that the little Coronado Islands are not there. Even historically significant islands didn't get much attention to detail by Microsoft. For example, their primitive rendition of Corregidor at the entrance to Manila Bay.

Kind of figured they weren't available. I'm not at all proficient at mesh and landclass design so it might be a little less simple for me.

I've installed all of Blue Sky scenery for S-CA and they do not extend beyond the Mexican border.

Maybe when ORBX gets around to So Cal they will include the little islands off shore...I can probably find some nice pictures of them - I have sailed out there a few times over the years
you can still see the ruins of the once grand casino that was built in the 1920's

nothing but scruffy cactus and scruffier sea lions out there now

They might have done them, for completeness. You could approach them, I suppose.
