    Repaints for Ant's T-28D Trojan

There was a question regarding repaints for Ant's T-28 in his announcement thread earlier today. Sometime back, I also posted a photo of a "Raven" T-28 asking about someone willing to do a repaint.

Just wondering if anyone may be considering whether to do that version or any others.

+1 for a Raven and a Royal Lao AF Lee Lue repaint for Ant's superb T-28.

    Exclamation Bump....bump..

....anybody out there? I think I may know why no skinner has come forward Obie311. Judging from the fact that you're the only other person to show interest in this paint scheme, I really can't blame any of the Outhouse painters for not stepping forward.

Well I did look around on that amazing government invention called the "Inter-Net"...Still having my 'Crypto Kinda Secret' decoder ring, and did find declassified pictures of said elusive planes!

Keeping in mind that these pic's will self destruct do to their sensitive nature...I.E WIP's!

The killer thing on this one is the way I'm trying to weather it!...But it is being worked every day!

    Gotta go...someones coming............

Hi Cody, I hope it was just your imagination and no one was at the door so you can get back to work.

    Shhhhhh...they'll know I'm here!

It will be o-kay as I get further into it Randy. It looks terrible now because it's just plain textures, no spec maps or alphas.
I am finding that some of them are kept clean, and some not so much! '249' being one the more 'weathered' ones.
    Off I go...to PhotoShop...:salute:

    Correct!

I do have all your A\B-26B\C\K repaints too, from Gorilla 1, to SE Asia, On Mark & Congo; It's a shame you never released a Genet (or ASPE "pre delivery") repaint, I tried to do it myself, just for me, but I'm not as good as you guys are.
Being unable to handle the alpha layer, I think, the repaint looks to shiny too me........anyway.......

    Question

What ever happened to this topic?

Since the release of Ant's Trojan, has anyone seen any repaints?

    Sad if there are none.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try,try again. ... or go read the manual.

It sure is a fantastic model, for my part some typical D usaf/vnaf/Raven fac weapon loadouts will open up a lot of possibilities. A clean wing trainer trojan just do not look as killer as the combat birds. Sort of a pocket skyraider.. I hope we will see some cbu cannisters mk81 bombs and rocket pods..

It might be the amount of work ie number of files to do. I am normally not the one looking for repaints. In this case i would like to have one of this navy blue ones or the one with the skull paint of vf-84 which you can see on airliners.net. and considered doing some repaints. i have limited tools for that and there are more that 15 files, so i did not start work. BUT,and this is what concerns me: Once an add-on is released there is always a lot of excitement, but only a few will remain in "public". Mirage III: how long did we wait for this one? Released gone. Noratlas: people did discuss who will do the isreal repaint, gone. GKS F-111...dead, and so on. If an add-on has just a short life cycle i understand why developers put less effort into it. All this "download as a type" and "cannot wait" ... and then?
