Willy's Western Roundup in a CDM

To finish off the "trifecta", I'm flying the FSD Cessna 337D (aka: CDM) in FS9 with default Real Wx in the Bronze Class, Low course.

After a most troublesome takeoff, the rest of the flight to Hood River was pretty much trouble free.

This isn't looking good. I wasn't watching the time of day and took off at just before 8pm local. Hope the lights work on this.

Well it did get kind of dark on me at the end there. Good thing there wasn't any trees or hills close to the airport....

I think we'll just spend the night here rather than try to slip into Jackson's Hole in the dark....

Kind of a zig zaggy route to stay under the soft ceiling and go around hills, but we made it to Jackson Hole despite the 25-30kt headwinds.

Nice flight to Valle although otto went nuts and I had to break out the sharp stick as the CDM climbed past 10,000 breaking the soft ceiling. Still not sure what happened, but I stepped away for a few seconds and when I came back, the aircraft was in a hard right bank. I rolled it back to the left hard and as I did it went into a steep climb breaking 10k before I had a chance to grasp what was going on. Max altitude reached was 10338 ft before I got it to start going back down. I hand flew it the rest of the way into Valle..
