On to KHQM. Lousy weather at Bowerman, had to fly the ILS approach which didn't help the trip time lol. Low ceiling, low visibility and stiff crosswind...that's what flying is all about :mixedsmi:

    Heya TJ,

I landed just before this weather came in. Started pouring just as I came to a stop, which is a good thing since I have yet to learn ILS flying!!!

Great fun, these "rallys". Never know what you are going to get.

    JKH
    i7 3770K @ 4.6GHz (OC), 8GB DDR3 1600 memory, Windows 7. All home built.

Fast motorcycles, vintage cars, good bourbons, and alas, vintage cigars I had to give up...

Lol yeah, you'll really have to read the area forcasts for mountain obscuration so you don't break you ceiling limit when you get later into the race.

TJ, congratulations on being the first to finish. Now, please go to the Mark Hopkins and open up the bar tab under your name. We appreciate your generosity.

Also, must say that yours are stunningly beautiful screenshots. Attractive aircraft, excellent scenery addons, and artful camerawork. Great stuff.

Thanks guys Think I'll endup having the longest flight time but with the lowest fuel cost. With the RV's low fuel cost from the race, will have plenty of beer money left over for everyone at the MH.

    Cheers
