    CavalierDuck Flies West

CavalierDuck flying the Realair Lancair Legacy in FSX with FSrealWXLite on the Gold class High Route.

About to depart KBFI for CYPS.

Departing on leg 2, CYPS to CYCG. Slightly different fuel saving strategy this time after my Legacy was a bit thirsty on the first leg.

  4. #4
On the ground at CYCG. No thanks to a crosswind gusting up to 25kts on landing.

    Flight time: 00:54:46
    Race time 00:54:46
    Fuel used: 52 lbs

Much better fuel economy this time, it looks like my strategy change might pay off.

Down safe at OR12. Banker appears to be shaking after skimming the ridgetops then diving into the canyon, he's looking a bit green as well. He just asked me if there are going to be any more like that....

This event has prompted me to at last try the Blue Sky scenery. I've installed the area around the Grand Canyon and from the test flight just I made, it looks pretty spectacular. I'll take my camera....
