    Will it work?......

    Exactly where the North Coreans deployed those two B.M.s? I'd like to fly over there for a tree top level pre-emptive strike, no warning, no war declaration and see if it will quench their demands.....

    Cheers!

    Blood,

    There wasn't much interest in it so I stopped work on it.

    ahh man don't stop. the KW theater can use it.

    don't make it for everyone. do it for yourself.

    If you want some testing done let me know. if we could get a group togther we could realy get it moving. I've been wanting to add some trees to the KWT. I just have to finish that WWI scenery and campaign first.

    Pyongyang is partially done as is Chinju.

    I still do things even if people show no interest,I just don't talk about them anymore or upload them.

    Did you do any mission/campaign work for the Mud-moving Mustangs ?

    I have looked at doing a campaign before - was thinking of the Korean Mustangs as a starter - but always got sidetracked onto repaints and 3d modelling. Then health-work-graphics computer all took a took a turn for the worse at about the same time.

    When I initially did the repaints I was thinking of a campaign that had missions for each of the free nations - was looking more at using it as a dynamic history lesson for people. Mention Korean War to most people and talk of the airwar and most people think of Sabres or the film Bridges at Toki-Ri.

    Fox Four on their website mentioned a Mudmovers campaign - http://simviation.com/lair/cfs2kwcampaigns.htm
    so I was looking at something that added to the Invader, Corsairs & Skyraiders.

    If there is enough information then your ideas plus Blood_Hawk23's plus what I started doing could be used as a basis for a new campaign ????

    Any thoughts. I would love to see Bloodhawks Korean work, but I also would love to see the WW1 campaign.

    It is also the intention to convert the Mustang repaints to CFS3 at some stage, would be a great addition for the DPC work.

    Regards, SGV

    Talon....

    ... as some have said "please just do the scenery, if not the missions..." I for one stayed mute because the ability to do the scenery and missions is beyond my knowledge and time capabilities. I enjoy your end products and was also waiting to see if the sceneries/missions were going to be released as a adjunct to the Fox Four Theater of Ops.

    As the famous lady once said "....don't stop....!!!"

    Kool!!! what ports do you have completed?

    You know, My biggest wish is to add railways to CFS2. they should have added that from the start. so many attack missions through out every theater and era involved railyards and tunnels.

    Kool!!!

    What objects do you use for your harbors?

    I've been peeking at my KW install. I'm not touching it yet because I'll never get my WWI stuff finished if I do. I'm Looking at some of the Japanese bases and ports. I think MR should take a peek at some of the Airfields and give them a makeover.

    *Must resist temptation*

    AAAHHHHHHHHHHHGGGG!!!

    and we wonder why projects take so long.

    Blood,
    Basically I'm doing the ports for fun to enhance the Fox Four Campaigns.I also fixed some air files and dp's.When you do the research you findout about loadouts and how the planes handle.

    Missions that could be done.

    There is alot that can be done.Marine Corsairs played a big part in Korea.

    Panthers were used both by the Navy and Marines as were Skyraiders.

    Mustangs as Seagull said were used for ground support as were Invaders.

    And of course the Saber fighting Migs.

    I have no plans on doing missions,just making suggestions for someone who wanted to do them.

    well what ever you do. please send me that rail yard. That will work perfect for my Samchok mission. here is a little blip of it, Rami style.

    [strings]
    "title_string"=RAAF77 Samchok Rail Yard
    "summary_string"=Your are leading a flight of four F-51 Mustangs out of Iwakuni AB, Kuga-Japan (NDS 336), on a Strike mission of the Samch'ok rail yards. Destroy any Trains and Railcars at the Station. You can expect heavy Flak and AAA. Alternet landing areas are Pohang (GPS 16,NDB 498) or Taegu (GPS 26,NDB 499).
    "objective_string"=We need to eliminate the troops and supplies that are flowing into the region. The destruction of these assests are of the highest priority. This must happen if we are to stop the NK (North Korean) advance.
    "intelligence_string"=There have been reports of heavy AAA and Flak from all of the squadrons entering and leaving NK controled territory. Also note that there have been reports of YAKs operating out of NK held airbases.
    "player_aircraft_name_string"=ALPHA_TR P-51D
    "airfield_string"=Honshu-Kuga (Iwakuni)
