Tried to purchase this, the coupon changes the price but when completing the Paypal purchase,
the transaction stops, saying the coupon has expired.
Probably because although the offer is until 29th March 2013,
the coupon itself expired on 1/1/02.
I guess that there won't be many sales at the reduced price.
That would be my guess as well. Thanks for pointing it out.
The sale is Flight1's initiative, so I will contact them.
Did you enter a support ticket at their site?
Cheers, Rob

Rob, I entered a support ticket with Flight1 and anybody else who got the coupon error prompt should too. Hopefully they'll get it squared away.
Yes,
I entered a ticket too.
Hi guys,
I also put in a tichket with Flight1, and already got a response, they are looking into it.
We appreciate your willingness to go with the sale.
Good luck, try again, I'm sure Flight1 fixed it already, but I can't confirm it yet.
Cheers, Rob

Hope Flight 1 get this sorted for you guys - the DC-2 is a great add-on, and fantastic value at half-price.
Thought I'd update this discussion and let everyone know the discount worked for me.
This is a great aircraft for FSX. I had the earlier version for FS9/FSX, but that package didn't work well in FSX/A so I decided to get the latest for FSX. Glad I did.
Now I'm off to collect some more repaints.
Cheers.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try,try again. ... or go read the manual.
Thank you for sorting this out, now purchased and installed.
Good for you. A little bit of hunting & gathering and you quickly have an extensive list of airline options - certainly some to suit your new PNW scenery.
Enjoy!
I already have it. She's a fantastic plane, a great creation ! ! !
These are some screenshots I took of the DC-2 shortly after I purchased it, just after 3 years ago. It became (And still is) one of my favorite FSx aircraft. I hope these screenshots are at least good enough to induce a couple of sales - It's for a very good cause, all profit going to the ongoing restoration and upkeep of one of the worlds 2 flying DC-2's.

... and now you've all purchased it you can use it for the same purpose KLM purchased it in 1934: fly the McRobertson Airrace. Fly
it the way the 'Uiver' did in 1934: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib....archid=8319415 or search for filename 'mcrarklm.zip'.

Bushflyer
Hi all!
Thanks for your new interest, we, and the Aviodrome museum, had a good month.
Thanks for that.:salute:
And do try Bushflyers London Melbourne race package. Great stuff, very well documented, an interesting read, and an exiting scenery and set of realistic flights. Loads of fun!
