I really like this "Accusim-style" engine start procedure. Excellent job Anthony

Yes there will be. There is where I will delete the rear cockpit instruments, should boost the framerates.

In fact, there will be a front cockpit version (with just the pilots instruments as mentioned above) and a rear cockpit version with all the instruments.

My mistake, flaps are usually down at startup (as you get in and out by walking up the flaps) plus the canopy would be open (so you can yell out to the ground crew if the plane catches on fire).

I also stuffed up the battery switch sound (I messed up my modeldef.xml, a quick fix up and recompile the models solved that problem).

And I forgot to open the cowl flaps!

Anyway, it was just a quick little video to show off the engine startup routine and some of the nice sounds.

Thanks Anthony.... Sometimes flying solo in the simulator is where I want to be... :-)

Great looking bird Anthony, look forward to seeing it done and take her up for a spin.

It does look quite nice, doesn't it. I love Ant's birds. I like the sound of this one from external cam, although it's still a little quiet I think, but it seems way too quiet from the cockpit. Let's hear a bit more of that throaty radial roar.
