I just noticed the ubiquitous Asiatic pilot face in Wolfi's otherwise wonderful pilot figure... used
on the Hellcat remake... so I decided to do a little plastic surgery to turn him into a more "American" looking countenance...
and also... do a little "tailoring" on the flight suit...flying helmet, etc.
I anyone cares to use these textures just PM me... available to anyone providing there are
no "copyright" infringements...

Plan a few colorful liveries for this Potez 25...

Here is an effort to redo a panel so it would show acceptably at 256 colors..
I am afraid that it involved more than just redoing the color...
Sort of making a silk purse out of a sow's ear... The original image (I think a VC rendition
showed a problem ... a fairly crude copy in Hi-colors but very crude in terms of definition... so I had to sort of
reverse engineer it... IF THE ORIGINAL HAD BEEN A "GOOD" IMAGE, IT WOULD HAVE SUFFICED TO CHANGE THE COLOR PALETTE...
but with this one... I had to take the original... remake it into a good one at high-def and then change it to 256 colors...
The results at 256 colors, I think look rather good...
this is a jpg of the actual bmp at 256 colors...
To wit:
I plan to revamp this one into one "head-on view" without parallax errors... i.e.: where circles are circles, in proper perspective, etc.
it was nonetheless a challenging quick project to manipulate an image, correct "moiree" patterns in color, etc. and some photo like details
and turn into a learning experience.

Hallo Gaucho,
even that for Milton's upcomming project there is no interest to do the 2d panel, I have continued work on it the way that it will fit to Alphasim's Boston III.
I have done some modifications on your original of the panel bmp.
Sadly I found no sollution for the engine control unit to be tilted to the right side as you show on the original picture.
Now the panel is very close to be finished and I want to publish it.
But I will not do it without your agreement that I used and modified your original panel picture.
Of cours I will give credit to your original work.
I also wrote to Milton to ask him for his "OK" to use a lot of his gauges.
I hoe you both will give me your agreements.
Yours
Michael "Papi" Vader
Hallo Gaucho,
thank you for your positive answer.
Milton also answered in a positive way.
So I hope that I can release the panel next week end
Just a question, did you almost work on operative gauges ?

Papi

Hallo Carlos,
here just a first preview of the Do 24 panel.
I used the here published picture and O.W.Fischer's Ju 52 gauges.
Of cours it is far away from beeing finished! It is just to see what will be possible to do.
Yours
Papi
Papi,
Looking very good already!
Just for your information, that the photo of the real Do24 panel above, is from a Spanish SAR Do24, so may differ in amount and types of instruments fitted. Here is a German Do24 panel photo, which has fewer instruments fitted.
Cheers
Shessi
