Hallo Gaucho,
after my interest was taken by the OV-1 Mohawk, I think a nice new panel would enrich this plane.
Also I found on the net the original operation manual for this bird.
If I send you this manual (via Hightail) and some more indications would you be interested about this project?
Yours
Papi
Good evening Gaucho,
at first thank you for your positive answer,
Hightail is an application I use to send big files which are too large to send via email.
I use it as it is realy simple and work good and fast
As soon as I have my free days from work I will send you the pack with docs concerning the new project.
I will have my freedays on wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday (Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag und Samstag.
The manual is big brick to read, LOL but realy very interesting.
For me the german manuals are realy easier to digest LOL
Yours
Papi

My hope is that these profiles serve to inspire repainters and developers alike to produce some of these aircraft classics.
If you have a particular one in mind... just let me know..

Nice! Its interesting that the P-39 was very successful with the Russians and not very well liked by most other users.
After reading its history I became aware that the P-39 is actually the top scoring US aircraft! Something I never realised!
Cheers,
Huub
This surprises me also Huub, I did know about the success it met with the Russians... but never imagined it would be a top scorer against
Hellcats, Mustangs, etc. in the US Forces.... Especially since it only saw service against the Germans in the Eastern Front... Wow!
At any rate there are some really colorful liveries in the Red Air Force service...
