    Duenna in FSX Question

    Why does the Duenna insist that I am not using RW weather when I know I have the settings correct?:salute:

    In FSX, for some reason, duenna looks at the last flight. So, if your last flight was with real WX, duenna will see it.

    FS9 stores the weather information in the FS9.cfg file FSX does not. The only place Duenna has to check the weather is in the Previous Flight.flt file but for some reason FSX does not always write the last flight to that file. You will find that file in your Documents folder Flight Simulator X folder.

    The best way to fix Duenna's nagging you about the weather is to open the Previous Flight.flt in your preferred text editor and look for this entry.

    [Weather]
    WeatherType=3

    If the weather type is anything other than a 3 change it to a 3.

    I think the real problem here is FSUIPC. FSUIPC generates the Previous Flight.flt file not FSX. It seems to only update that file when you are flying online. Even then it does not update it all the time so I am not sure what the other criteria is.
