Band of Brothers...epic story. special effects added to the story line. Nothing too out of the woods.
The Pacific....again, epic story. Same deal on special effects...oh wait....except for the aircraft parts (cheesy).
Now, something in the way of aerial combat? Need to see the story first...that's the deciding factor. How tempted with trying to make the effects the prime character? Might be overwhelming....we'll see.
I am looking forward to what they come up with.

I've seen HBO's Band of Brothers and The Tuskegee Airmen, both were great. HBO can produce top quality entertainment and even stick close to historical accuracy when they try.
