Cool field trip today

Got a field trip over with some work colleagues to Flight Safety International here in Savannah. Got to view the facilities and yep saw the Level D simulators.... got some time in one of their G550 simulators..... awesome! Can now say I have confidence in knowing how to land one.


Of course Gulfstream is very protective with their brand.... and I could not take pictures to share with you all so I am sorry about that. Some really cool stuff with the HUD and nose steering. Great glass of course. I have been lucky... my second visit to a Level D simulator facility.

I'm training right now at FSI for the King Air, the visuals are not quite up to FSX payware standard, but then again they don't have to be.
