Bushpilot, have you managed to download it yet?

Haven't tried yet. From previous REX upgrades, I've learned to wait till the dust settles. Much less frustrating.

Good news, I dearly hope that they eradicated some bugs in the update that bothered me in the previous version...

Yes Montie, I'm having to use the German link, but mines a little faster, 51/2 hours.

So I'm not the only one encountering problems...
Guess I'll just wait a bit longer

No problems here with the American server. Got mmy update in 5 hours time and now up flying. Huge gains in the WX time and downloading the WX. Performance in the Canadian Arctic has greatly improved and I have a good view of a Phase 3 Blow TO from CYZF.

By the looks of it Simmarket is selling REX Essential Plus with Overdrive, so maybe those that bought REX2/Essential through them have an alternative download service there.

I'm downloading the update for my version right now.
It's slow, but should be done in a few hours.

It took a loooong time to access the file on the server to start the download.

Don't suppose this is a complementary upgrade for us users of Ver 3.02012.0522 is it?
Basic Flying Rules: "Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there."

Finally got it downloaded (only 10 hours...), installed and tested. It was worth the wait
