    Very sad indeed, I met him in Vegas at an F-86 pilot's reunion -- very nice guy. We lost Hoot Gibson a few years back too.

    Ralph Parr is pretty sick at the moment as well.

    Robert Lee "Hoot" Gibson,is still alive,i believe he flew a race plane at reno this past year as well,are you thinking of the hoot gibson "the cowboy"? he passed in 1962.

    When its time to go .. it is time to go , I am sure and well no people like these will be long remembered , their skills and determination and the lessons they will give even when gone .
