BoB Campaign for ETO 1.40: Question

Hi

A question regarding the BoB Campaign (Axis) for ETO by mrjmaint.

In almost every mission I flown in the beginning of the campaign when the mission starts our airbase is attacked by unescorted bombers (mostly Whitley MkV).
Also on our way to the target there are often spawning unescorted bombers.

Is this how it's supposed to be?

I dont get this. Also in all of the axis escort missions I never incounter an ennemy aircraft. Is this how it's suppose to be ?

I did set up the air spawn files so that you would not be constantly harrased by fighters and give you the option to engage or not.
