    Yep, see thread "ransomware scam". Looks like no defense yet but several fixes are out there and the severity of the hit can be severe to very mild. Sometimes a system restore will do the trick or try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lkr_NXbCe4, the author has made step-by-step removal videos for several variations.
