First time I've seen post war shots of an IL2

Giving the fact how many Il-2 were build - wasn´t it the largest build-number of WWII? - it´s a pitty so few are left. Great to see one flying again, always had a soft spot for these flying tanks.

I think you're right - if Wikipedia is correct there were about 36,000 Il-2s produced compared to about 34,000 Me109s (which I thought may have taken the most-produced title.)

And yes, 'over' 36,000 built exactly the number the FHC quoted.
