    System Shut down

    Hi All
This is my two penny worth; I've had P3D now for just a few days. I'm running Vista with FS2004 and FSX with no problems. Installation of P3D was without issues but the first run ended abruptly with a total system shut down. I've never experienced this before so I was at bit of a loss to fathom this out. After some experimentation I updated the drivers for my Logitec Wingman Strikeforce 3D joystick from 502 to 504. The shutdown problem now seems to be fixed. I've put the P3D settings the same as FSX to compare and there is no doubt P3D gives better frame rates and smooth graphics. Next I'll try and port over some FSX native models and scenery and see how things go. What I do miss is the ability to download real world weather. By the way Plan G V3 works perfectly using the FSX database. Simconnect takes care of the connectivity.
Hope this is of some use to anyone with the same problem or thinking of obtaining P3D.

    Hey CavOk

Sorry about the crash. Some issues do exist with using exotic hardware. My X-52 seems to be void of these issues.

I miss active weather as well. Perhaps Build 2.0 will have this, I hope. All the other addon weather systems, from what I hear, work fine.

    Hi Sue
Thanks for the heads up, I've bookmarked this and will investigate later. At first look it seems very useful.
