    I'd build the Questair Venture!

With the Continental IO-550, and an Empty weight of only around 1,200lbs, this plane is a rocket!

It would be a tribute to my good friend, "Tommy" Rose, and his racer #3 "Ramblin' Rose". Tommy lost his life at Reno, in 2002, when the horizontal stabilizer separated during high-speed. Two other Venture's sustained accident damage during that very race week, however, there were no other injuries.

It really is an amazing aircraft. Difficult to land! But, it would be a killer race against the Lancair IV from ORBX, and the RealAir Legacy!

Let's see how big this thread gets!

I thought about making one of these myself a while back (like the FS 2002 era) but I could never find drawings. Sign me up for one.

Sleek looking plane from an angle, but the side view is so squat it reminds me of these...

Or this, one of my favorite models I ever built, despite all the super-realistic gap-puttied historical recreations I made:

I'm excited to see folks express interest in the possibility of a Questair Venture...

This would have to be a payware project to warrant the time involved, to represent this in the quality that I would demand. Probably on the lower-scale of the price-range though, to invoke interest from those who may otherwise pass by.

If anyone is seriously interested in any kick-start investments toward this, please send me a PM.

I am currently working as partner in a free FSX group, aimed toward multiplayer air racing, aerobatics, and other contests, such as STOL. We are met sponsorship from A2A for our first sanctioned event.

I'd give it a spin, been a while since I've done any racing but it was fun.
