Alphasim/Virtavia FSX F-89 repaint issue

I finally bought the f-89 in the pc aviator sale and installed the MNANG VTANG WIANG IAANG repaints from Dave Quincey and none of them display properly in FSX. I installed the fsx textures per instructions and the canopy is silver and the aircraft appears to be lit from below. Was wondering what I can do to fix this. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks in advance.

Maybe (I don't have this aircraft) the info in the texture.cfg (Found inside each texture folder.) points to the Alphasim aircraft, not to the Virtavia aircraft. If that's the case, edit the text to point to the correct aircraft.
