USD35 million... it's green and it's not a Bugatti.

Hmmm, when I read your headline I thought Bugatti Royale, but then the body text so thought 250 GTO?
Good stuff.
I like to think I own a future classic, LOL

...I wonder what the insurance premiums would be like.....?
The driver should be cited for his "California Stop" as shown in the video clip... just saying...

Cold Brakes! he was frantically stomping on the brake pedal... nada.
Perhaps he assumed when you've spent that much on a car, everything works like a Lexus straight off the showroom floor.
Sjeeeezzzz ! :isadizzy:
And it's not even the most beautiful car in the world anymore.... Not after the Jaguar E-Type got its SP2... Who wouldn't want 47 of these for the price of that one, venomous green, Ferrari 250 GTO :

I sure won't ! I'd be outrageously happy with just one !
cheers,

SP2... LOL
It is utterly gorgeous, isn't it?
I would love to see the equivalent of these guys take on a '65 Corvette.
I built one in 1/8th scale years ago in metallic blue, a shape to die for.
Hear! Hear! Sign me up! I remember seeing an E-type in BRG on Eglinton Ave. in Toronto some years ago - first time I saw one in the flesh - and knew then that there wasn't a car on the road that could hold a candle to her. You can keep your Ferrari's, Porsche's, and overcooked Lamborghini's, make mine a Jag E-type convertible every time!
There's a bright red E-type that I see on the roads here now and again. I'd love to have a V-12 one.
Let Being Helpful Be More Important Than Being Right.
I'm a 'poor man's sports/race car collector ( poor man between brackets because for the price of some of these 1/18 scale diecast models one can easily buy a nice second hand real car ) and i am waiting to get my grubby little hands on the yet to be released Autoart E-Type S1 Coupé 3.8. Photos of the model look very promising.
I think it might well be a fat chance to see the Eagle Speedster being modeled in 1:18 diecast ( preferably by CMC, BBR or Exoto ) in the foreseeble future but 'hoop doet leven' as we say here in Holland. ( as long as there's hope there's life )
Btw, this sure is not the 'World's most expensive model car' but with $17,500.00 it comes reasonably close. As such it could well be the 1:8 model variant of the car in the subject. I suppose it'll take an equally crazy person that bought the real thing to take out his credit card for this beauty :
As i am a crazy person myself i would very much like to step forward.. :toilet:
Any other crazy persons go here http://www.thememorabiliaexperience....ls/index1.html

I bet a modern day Kia drives better.....
Basic Flying Rules: "Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there."
Yes, but I remember a friend of mine who finally got he car of his dreams -- 1965 Mustang with the vaunted 289 V8.
Told me he loved it, but his sister's base model KIA Forte was a far superior driver.
