+1...
+1 to keep Raptor Driver in the Top 3.
I think we need to consider they have those top three for development reasons as well as keeping things going. Lets be paitent.
"If three-holers are gas guzzlers, why are there four-holers now???"
"But what do i know? I'm just the 800 pound guerrilla in the room."

Hi
Whats the meaning of a "Legacy" F-18 or any other "Legacy" aircraft?
Thanks
In the case of the FA-18, "legacy" refers to the "old" version, A, B, C, and D models. When the "Super" Hornet (FA-18E and F) came out, people started calling the old ones "legacy". I guess it sounds better than "old"... This is "corporate buzz-speak", but it still means "the previous (old) version".

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti 12GB GDDR6

Well they are called that way because indeed they are (F/A-18A/BC/D) the legacy to the new hornets or "super" hornets, meaning that the new ones are entirely developed from the original design but changed in such way that they are not the same, whereas the C and D versions were not that much different than the first batch of hornets which are A and B's. As a matter of fact, the hornet design comes from the YF-17 but this one was called Cobra, so no hornet there, being the first hornets the A,B,C and D models.
I'm wondering if there was a further design after the super hornets how would they be named? Ultra hornets, Ultimate hornets? LOL! Yes I know that'll never happen because the F-35 is here now...

Thanks...
