Hi Matt,
One of the Lightning manuals says the following:
There are references online to explosive bolts being used. They could definitely make a mess if they didn't clear the fuselage quickly!Empty overwing tanks may be jettisoned between 200 and 250 knots and up to 0.75M at heights up to 40,000ft in straight and level flight. Overwing tanks containing fuel are not to be jettisoned.
Thanks
Martyn
Not too sure about the yellow canopy tint or the size of underwing and fuselage serials on the bare metal skins but hopefully they will make adjustments before release.
now available to pre order!
Regards,
Ian.
BTW the video really doesn't do the Turbine Sound Studios soundset justice, the start up and reheat sounds are superb!

I really do like American machines but this one , the Lightning sits beside itself , a type only for muffers and imagination <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input jscode="leoInternalChangeDone()" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();} else{setTimeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
Yes those are the sounds from FSX, I didn't edit the video content in anyway, just stitched it all together.
Is it tomorrow yet? I'm really looking forward to this, and as it happens I have a few days off.
