Safe down at LIPB. Weather was rainy and rough taking off from EDDF, cloudy and rainy at LIPB. Not bad in between.

Forgot to add the bonus, 2hr for LIPB and 15 min hand flying from a fuel stop.

Ok, we are ready for LSMI, I hope.

    LIPB to LSMI.

Down, safe at LSMI. Actually I thought this was going to be one of the harder ones, but turned out pretty good.

15min bonus LIPB to LSMI and 15min bonus staying below 12000ft.

Some pics of the flight. Vis was real bad taking off, fair enroute, not too bad landing.

Off to Marseille. LSMI to LFML. Still hand flying.

Down safe at LFML. Weather was soup taking off, as expected. Had a nice headwind to climb in, then a nice tail wind all the rest of the way. Decided to fly north and around the big hills, and track the NDBs. Weather cleared for a little bit, then clouds and low visibility the rest of the way. Good flight. 15min bonus hand flying to a fuel stop.

Been getting things ready for Africa. Another day or two, and we will be off. Still trying to find our navigation light bulbs, somebody took them for the party lights.

I really like the lines of the Heinkel fast transport. Good show Robert.

    Great Job Robert!!

I notice tell tale signs of GW3 in your screen shots.

Folks may not know it, but it is a lot more difficult to make out the footprint of an airport in GW3.

One of the first things you do to modify for the retrofit is to find and delete the scenery file that has taxiways on it .... all of 'um

Then a lot of the runways are turned into grass or dirt .... gives a nice ol'time feelin' ... but it's sure tough trying to find an airport you've never seen before.

Forget about lights ... you better be there by dark.

    Hat's off to you Sir!

    Great Job Robert!

    Heads Up!

I was just in GW3 at FAYP ... testing for another run.

You need to go there and check out a building crash I encountered just barely off to the west of RWY 20.

One foot on the runway and one foot off .... turning to park ... say three quarters of the way to the end ... there's no building there at all.

If that happens to you too, then I would go ahead to each airport (menu Go to Airport) and have a check.

    Cheers,

Thanks Salt. The coral runways are usually easy to spot, but the grass ones blend right into the scenery.
Just did a test at FAYP, no crashes with three different aircraft. Nice fall colors down there.

    Down at GMMC.
Heard about an interesting nightclub here, run by an American. Might have to check it out.
