    Virtual Cockpit Tooltips not showing up

    Has anyone had this issue? I replaced my video card a month ago, but I think this has been going on longer than that.

    Does anyone know about this problem, or is it a known issue? Any help is appreciated. Thanks all. :ernae:

    Hi,

    Eyepoint too far back? Move forward by pressing Ctrl + Backspace.
    Unchecked in Options/Settings/Display/Aircraft?

    I've heard of problems if you're in Full Screen & DX10 mode... :salute:

    Well, upon some troubleshooting, I figured the issue out. Yep, fullscreeen, and was running in Preview DirectX10 mode....

    Ya nailed it, Dave. Both graphics issues I was having were related to DirectX10. After having installed the latest latest driver, and fiddling with settings, it turned out it was just that. Now, taxiway markings are no longer flickering, and tooltips have re-appeared! :ernae:

    Both of ya, I appreciate your interest and help on the issue. :ernae:

    In fsx.cfg (C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\microsoft\fsx while using Windows 7 - other OS versions may place that in different place)

    in part:

    [PANELS]
    QUICKTIPS=1 ?

    Bojote's tweak turns that off by default.

    By the way does anyone know where I could get a total list of these fsx.cfg commands and their options? I haven't found any total listing on Microsoft's pages. This information seems to be spread all over the Internet and is to be get from there by change and piece by piece - frustrating.

    Pekka
