    FS9 is like a whole new sim with my favorite aircraft already installed. I locked the frames at 25fps for multiplayer and it rarely bobbles below 24.8fps. I'm loving it! Thanks again!!

    I've added the sextant and a Duel Band HF Radio and radio compass'.
    This could require hand flying throughout the entire event?

    E/W wing fillets and landing gear"spats" how could anything go wrong?

    No coffee breaks, naps, or timeouts or snacks!!! Perhaps we'll look for an old used Sperry AP laying around in the hanger shop.

    I would like to request a change in the Gamma 2A CFG. file.
    It would add a cargo space of 200 lbs for the mail run, locating it behind the pilot's seat.

    The original aircraft cfg line is:
    station_load.0 = 170, -7.54, 0, 0.98
    (this is the pilot's weight and location)

    The additional line would read:
    station_load.1 = "200.0, -14.5, 0.0, 0.0, Rear Cargo" //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position

    The resultant payload would look like this with a total of 370 lbs.

    Is this OK?

    Tests have shown no increase in performance, in fact adds a slight increase in the AOA, which results in a slightly slower maximum airspeed.
    It has added some weight to the tail section, which makes in slightly easier to stop when landing.

    If not OK that's OK with me as well.
    Just thinking it can't hurt to ask.

    Thanks Salt,

    The "Sky Chief" still requires hand flying!
    Although it trims out fairly well in clam and steady wind conditions, it is not nearly enough to read a bed time story!
    Just so we can grab a cup of Joe, and let the pup out, it'll be a great adventure.

    Good luck with that, a-hem "copilot," you have along.

    Dil,

    I see no issue with adding the small cargo space to the Gamma as it should not affect speed or range in a "+" manner. Good luck Sir.

    Thank you sir! Tentively, we'll load her up with mail at Marseille.
    The final assembly is complete and all checkouts are being performed for our Cape to Cape Caper at this time.

    For the Modern Era, I'll register the AFG B300. Will port it over to FSX if it all works out. (May have to abort this for something slower...or may not have the time. Sorry to say.)

    Changing my Modern GA entry to the Carendo Beech Bonanza. Hope I'll have time to make that run after I get the Beech 18 to Cape Town.

    Better yet ... I have heard rumors that another collector here has found a Ford Trimotor he wishes to have delivered from ... you guessed it Norway.

    Stay tuned ... if I can get the panel right I'm gone ... needs to be in the next few days though ... that's a 100 hour trip.

    BTW: If I decided to take 'um up on it ... here's my ride back .... sitting off of Robben Island right now waiting for my decision.

    Hi gang.

    I know time is short... a number of personal problems kept me from joining sooner. Planning to be done around the 30th (I know... "day late and a dollar short").

    Wanting to go "low and slow" to enjoy the scenery, I finally got a ride back to Europe. "Registering" N2023Z for an unofficial Modern Age entry. This is the just-released Milviz Beech Baron B55 and the "entry" is merely an excuse to fly the route in the new aircraft. Clearly, I shall not finish in any reasonable time and will not score the entry. This registration is just for fun.
