    From Manchester...

    ...to Boston...

    ...to Nice...

...which is where any well-heeled aeroplane would go, for a nice break on the sunny shores of the Med.

O/T here but as you are mentioning a break and the sunny shores of the Med

Last week Air France said goodbye to it's A380's with a special flight from CDG around France. Above Marseille she flew along with the latest A350 delivered to the airline which brings some nice pictures and videos. I don't know if there have been air to air shots, I haven't seen any yet.
I also like the picture taken in CDG with the A350 - A380 - Concorde on the same image.

Cool! I will have to look at the 'bible' for BC ops from Middlebrook for Manchester missions later. IIRC some of the big '42 raids involved them.

    Cato said "Carthaginem esse delendam"
I say "Carthago iam diu deleta, sed enim Bellum Alium adhuc aedificandum est"

Sweet! Is that a D-Day package Typhoon? or ETO?

  11. #2286
That's one of the SJ Typhoons, so not part of either.

Hey what video card do you have to get the nice image. I have a nvidia and never can get the game to look good. I know I need to mess with the shaders too but IIRC nvidia stopped supporting specular textures. So getting ready to rebuild...

    Love the night shot too.

It's an NVidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super using Ankor's shaders of a couple revs back with WOFF scenery, high-res clouds. I generally haven't messed with any of the settings except maybe a bit of shininess and reflectivity.

Airfix meets computer, plastic meets m3D. Great juxtaposition!
