My flights these days aren't terribly interesting as I'm still not fully set up yet in the new house, but sometimes they are scenic.

Well G that ain't half bad!

Very atmospheric, dawn patrol over the white cliffs, I'd say about Capel/Folkstone area....

Ankors shaders showing well with internal reflections (hex hack?) on the canopy, ripples in the sea and sun just peaking through, beautiful.

    Cheers

    Shessi

Looks great, and will be nice to see other time periods when done. I have no doubt asked many times, but what scenery?

What I like especially is the more realistic sea colour in that part of the world; no bright blue!

The scenery is from the latest edition of WOTR.

The water colors are already released:

Fair warning,.the Channel is quite blue, but I worked from lots of photos and tried to get the shades right. It will look somewhat different than in my screenshots since the lighting overhaul has a strong effect on its appearance.

My experience of living by the sea near Dover, The Isle of Wight, and South Devon, is that it can vary considerably according to the part of the UK, weather, time of day, and cloud cover, all effecting lighting of course, from dirty green to a greeny-blue, but never like more southerly seas, or parts of the Pacific for example. Your photo seems very realistic IMHO. I shall have to check that sea out.
WRT to WOTR scenery, I have to check around for that post on the correct method of installing it in CFS3.

I'm glad you like it, Scott - it's not bad for a WIP, if I may say so myself

We all know what time period you are most interested in. Here you go, note the vast improvements

Ok, a real screenshot this time. In fact, night time lighting has been recently improved by Ankor. Specifically, reflections of moonlight on aircraft skins and glass surfaces have received a welcome update. WIP Shot:
