I have the firepower versions and the beta model Ta-152. They are fun to fly. A nice pit would be outstanding. Glad to see interest in them!

I have a few skins done for the recent Mosquito FB MKVI, I'll make them all standalone.

I hope details with each version, BTW, was ever anything published on how bombing was done without a bomb sight? I couldn't find much online.

I think they dropped their bombs same way as any fighter, dive bomb, shallow dive as far as I understand James. Did you see the youtube vid I put a link too in the Mosquito release thread, it's well worth a look.
When they bombed the Amiens prison, they slid the bombs down the street in the snow!

I've been looking at it and am shocked to find there is no ACC RAF Hunsdon! http://www.wartime-airfields.com/raf-hunsdon.html. I may have to adapt one of the other ACC airbases to the task! Clearly an important Mossie airfield and needed for late TOW 1 (to after 1000k raids) and all TOW 2 eras (to either Hamburg '43 or Berlin early '44)

With that in mind, will there be some intruder versions as were at Hunsdon AFAIK?

Alas of course Op Jericho was launched from there.

Hello John , That Ta-152 would be a great project to update. One of the finest single engine fighters ever produced. Would love to see it receive some TLC. Thanks. Scott

  16. #2441
That Ta-152 model I showed above isn't the beta you can get in the download section, it's a completely different model that has not been officially released. It was made by Luca Festari, a side project from way back to the old MAW days.

    Hi Luca if you're around!

How about some dispersal shots, Ive been adding a heap of frontend.xml files to get different sun positions on the UI screen and placing some extra vehicles around my airbase facilities to simulate activity around the aircraft. I have also tweaked the unit type entries using #aircraft#1 and #aircraft#2 so each airbase has 2 different types of aircraft on the base, could be bombers or fighters.

Really like your choice of planes especially the HE 177, Coastal Command B24's , and the Halifax's good to see someone appreciating the work!

Still working on a fully comprehensive set of Clight files. This is the one of the DR Hurricanes in MAW where some of the gauges are live and some are just static painted on the panel texture. Getting both types to look like they match in color and brightness can be tricky. (Night scenes in game always appear somewhat brighter than their screenshots because your eyes adapt to the overall darkness of the environment.)

    Beautiful!

It looks quite realistic, particularly the purplish reflection of the UV light on the other cockpit parts! (Compare with this: https://airandspace.si.edu/collectio...m_A19602661000! - the 4th image of 16).
