The La5 and La-9. Two of my favorite fighters. Good firepower with two cannons for the La5 and three for the La-9. In the nose ,where the should be.

the pic took a bit second when i pull the aircraft up and that contrail still left there while i decrease those rocket power

Steam was one of the main products of the reaction of the fuels used by the rocket motor. Some of it was used to drive a turbine which powered the fuel pumps. Steam exhaust from the turbine exited the aircraft under the fuselage, which is what you're seeing in the pic. Steam from the rocket exhaust itself was too hot to be visible for some distance behind the aircraft. After a certain distance it would cool enough to condense into a contrail. Contrary to popular belief, no smoke was produced by the rocket motor - a very eco-friendly engine - as long as you ignore the flesh-eating fuels that power it!

Ah so it's John masterpiece skins! Thanks John ! Those are firepower 152 and skin made by tony greenheld, it's suppose to be bare metal but it's doesn't work well in CFS3, i don't know what's wrong when i convert it..at least it's become winter camo now

Funny, although of course very logical as its the same 3D model, but I never realised the skin would fit CFS3 Firepower model as well......

But its really nice to learn that you can use it in CFS3 as well

    Cheers,
    Huub

working hardly on the Arado 234B latest few days (again) to shake some of the project stuff off as soon as it gets the night version is a bonus of the Arado project infact, should be both variants in one single downloadable add-on pack, more about here.

@Bravo/4: yum, what a nice scene

@sixstrings5859: do you mean this current skin? this airplane is already released public (v.1.0), still the offical upload into SOH Warbird section didnt happen yet. when done, it should include skins made by Bravo/4 as this one from the image above.
