One of my all time favorites ,the La-5. Wish there was a La-7 for CFS3 but the performance is close. The La-7 had better visibility and firepower than the La-5 .

Some of my favorite fighters in the PTO-RS sim. Play both sides of the fence !!
The most challenging interceptor to fly correctly and the most fun is the long awaited Me-163B ...
nice shots, Scott
@wiek: ok, the only way seems to me to copy the whole ACE COMBAT image link, and put it into the SOH forum as a regular insert image object, just untick the Retrieve option at the uploader dialog. sample result with your image from ACE COMBAT thread:
@wiek: is this the CFS3 Komet we did? the pilot figure says it isnt. it is even a CFS3 screenshot? well, maybe I am too old and just cant recognise my stuff there EDIT: ah, the COMBAT ACE thread is Strike Fighters 2 Series - Screen Shots, you just mentioned it as your properly visible image collection presentation, right?
It still not working sharing google images in here, i don't know why..well i've to upload here which smaller size
it's weird when i share from google image on combatace, you will get Key binary extension behind it's images address but not in here which i think that's why it wont show up here...the original images adress from google host is with (=no) but in combatace you'll get another extension behind it like this (&key=fde5facf345324de88efafee79d6b73c44bc5478f07b 160a3c24f0bbe0461cb9) after (=no) which google images don't show it when you share it using SOH insert images unless i upload it on combat ace first. And that's why you can show them here as they have another binary extension, guess that's the clue.

Interesting. I do now see today's by wiekniera. Using Firefox.
Cato said "Carthaginem esse delendam"
I say "Carthago iam diu deleta, sed enim Bellum Alium adhuc aedificandum est"
wow, great screenshots, thanks!

Two of my favorite JAAF planes the Ki-100 and Ki-84.
The Sky Unlimited P-51B(part of the P-51 pack) . Firefox gives me a warning not to enter their website. So i don't know if they are still available .Not willing to take a chance.
Has anyone else tried the Sky Unlimited website ? Is it just Firefox that warns you about entering?
Pictures may seem a little dated but i don't use AnKor's shaders.
I dunno how to reach Jesse but the only malware seems to be the supposed protector!! ...and it IS annoying
Hi Scott and cheers all
A question for the Major (and anyone else in the 'know')... Is there any hope for bumpmapping on an ex-STREEMLY low end machine (?)
...and could you run down briefly what's involved, like izzit all dependent on Ankors shaders, etc. and what the minimum daily adult requirement is
and so forth and so on...?
The reason I'm in such a tizzie is due to those amazing screenies like the BF-109f
I mean gosh(!) that is just incredible ...and a tip of the skullcap to John (the da Vinci of skinners)
Thanx in advance and...
cheers
Bump Mapping costs nothing extra past the price of admission for being able to run AnKor's Shaders, and those actually improve the performance in some ways by allowing multiple CPU cores to be accessed.
If you have a really low system, the best way to improve performance is to keep the aircraft detail high and lower the scenery detail settings.

@majormagee
Can we have flat metal effect rather than bare metal effect on P-51D like warbirds P-51D or DCS P-51D (comparing to my shots of FP P-51D alabama rammer jammer)? and is there a way to show a bit reflection on canopy and front nose?
The reflectivity can be tuned to anything you like. If the model already has a _s.dds file then it's just a matter of adjusting the brightness levels of the areas of the texture you want shiney or flat. If the model does not have the reflectance texture reference built in you can use the _t.+sr.dds extension to add it after the fact, but his requires a minor hex edit of the m3d to be fully functional.
A brightness of 16% grey is quite reflective, and 4% grey is like flat matte paint. Above 16% is starts to look like chrome and eventually becomes a perfect mirror finish. Many of the existing _s.dds files are too bright to look natural with AnKor's Shaders.
Additionally, they often include false shading that is lighter on the upper surfaces and darker on the undersides. Unfortunately this only looks correct when the aircraft is flying straight and level or sitting on the runway. Anything else and the shaders are fighting to light the model correctly while being fed this incorrect information about the model's orientation relative to the light.

Love the BoB era in the ETO expansion.
Did my last previous screenshots gone?
