    Homeward Bound Across The Channel

I just checked and the contrail color and brightness adjusts the same way the clouds do to different lighting conditions like sunrise, sunset, moonlight etc.
This should provide for some pretty dramatic screen captures once people have had time to add the effect to their aircraft.

The discussion thread on Cockpit lights inspired me to create a scenerysheet01.+nlight.dds with the widows of all the buildings lit with RGB - 224, 218, 150 to create this shot:

Approaching London On A Moonlit Night Before The Blitz

Having this many lights showing does not appear to have any measurable impact on the FPS.

That's a brilliant find Andy, most impressed! This also means that runway lighting should be attainable by adding such a texture to the airfields.

Any chance that you could post that file please?

    Icon22 just have to say

It is screen shots like the Manchester and P61 that keep me making planes. I know that there are fewer and fewer folks enjoying this old game, but I realized long ago, I do this because it puts a smile on my face - call it ego or what but darn, she does look good. Oh James see I actually put windows on her this time......

Glad hear that! It was getting a little drafty in there; not to mention a little cold!

    Hi Folks,
I appreciate this is not CFS3, but just had to show the modded MkIII in Fs9 and CFS2. And to Ted, Steve and John for their modelling/painting skills and generosity, a big thank you..Ted, Steve and John you're so damn good!

And even FSX cannot compete with Ankors shaders, some of your pics are just stunning. Here's to a great CFS3 future...

    Cheers

I could certainly use some of the same stuff John is having for his scenery... is that Johnno_UK (i.e. ETO) or something completely else?

  23. #1248
Rene I got the scenery from here, wiekniera posted it http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...Ground-Texture

    Cheers John,

A lot of work, but a labour of love! ha!

By a mile, the best Sunderland in Fs9 and CFS2, and there will also be an FSX version.
