    FSX Radios

I don't know how it happened but I get this strange new blue pane telling me to turn at a certain frequency for radio communications. I never use it but the pane stays with me where ever I fly. I turned off all ATC functions but's still there. Is their a fix for this?\

HD can you post a screenie of that blue pane? It doesn't sound familiar.

Your tilde key cycles it on and off.
(the ~ key on the upper left of the keyboard.)

In the menu options......(I know you said you disabled this, but just double check for thoroughness.)

Settings > General > Uncheck all three boxes under the ATC setttings. (boxes are: Show message log in ATC menu, Auto-open ATC window, Use a pilot voice.)

If that doesn't solve it, I'm afraid I'm of no further help.

Hey Moe, just wishful thinking on your part. That tilde ~ key really worked, I thank you.

    FSX Commands

    HD,
You need to get the commands list ('fsxcmnds.zip', 1.98 mb, at FltSimCom). The whole thing fits on one sheet of paper. Print it out and keep it handy (in case of senior or CRS moments). I can't fly without it.

And for clarification (pardon me) it's the ACCENT and not the tilde that makes 'it' work. To get the tilde would require 'Shift' first. Not so for 'Accent' which is the correct command (key press) in FSX for 'ATC Window (display/hide). I know. Picky me. So sue me (hehe).
