    Thanks mrogers :-)

Love to have it but not a PayPal customer and otherwise seems like too much hassle to purchase. :-/

    Thanks for the "heads-up".

Would they be useful to you Milton? It is not an extortionate amount, I might be able to spring for that.

They would be very useful to the projects of course for authenticity of operational controls and especially for interior reference and flight model development.

    I appreciate that.

Between the "Avia" and the "Grumman Tracker, Tracer, Trader"... et al, the Lockheed Harpoon seems to have disappeared into the shadows.

Well Milton, I can only fly and crash one plane at a time, so I can relate. I did a real nice job of stacking up the Alpha/Virtavia Saab Draken the other day... got a bit to slow with her trying not to damage the hydraulics when lowering the gear. Forgot that the Draken needs at least 225 MPH to stay in the air and I dropped the gear at 200. Suffice to say, the gear wasn't the only thing that dropped.... the plane literally fell out of the sky, only moments after the stall horn went off. Rats!!!

I just wanted to keep the thread current, is all. I'm sure there is a bunch of interest, and we'll get to fly the fruits of your work in due time.

Well, with the bulk of the Grumman project completed, and after a short break, I will try to get back here to make some progress.

Thank you sir; I am working my way back to here, lots to do here and there with so many toys that need attention.

Still looking for more period photos of the real world cockpits of the Harpoon and Lodestar if you all find waiting to be boring.

I have the Pilots Handbook which is great, but I know there are some good cockpit photos out there. After the project is done, they seem to pop up for people to criticize your work.

Sinister! It looks SINISTER! Gives me an idea for a dark grey paint scheme with the cockpit interior glowing reddish orange through the glass from the panel light illumination... like EVIL RED EYES! LOL!!!

OK... I'll shut up now, but you do have a point, Modelr.

Nice Viddie, Phantomx1. Man I really love the sound of those big radial engines, especially at the end when the PV-2 does her fly-by. Great stuff! :salute:
