I'm working away at the new textures. I just popped it in FSX to have a peek, and OOPS!!! I better recheck alphas
Stay tuned. I think you'll like the progress.
LOL Looks like a great way to test the mesh though!
Oleboy, drop me a PM and i can send you my master PSD's for OK-ABV :salute:
Here's a visual first impression. I've got a long way to go.

Very, very nice OleBoy. I like those reflections.
i'm not too sure about photoreal.... i mean it'd be great if the scenery was all photoreal, but it isn't so it looks kinda out of place.... like trying to hide a sniper in an urban area by lying him down in the middle of a square guaranteed to look outta place....
That looks so nice ! well done everyone involved.
Craig
Great progress OB! Keep on, keepin' on
Notice anything?
"If three-holers are gas guzzlers, why are there four-holers now???"
"But what do i know? I'm just the 800 pound guerrilla in the room."
Fire! Fire! Your pants better not be on fire....
The flyer you gave links to, SG, will help with logo making. Thanks. From those links I was able to head other direction for more resource material. It took some crafty doing, but it paid off.
The hardest part yet is finding usable Czech text as it is on the sides of the 51. Hard to come by so far. Which is the reason I posted the picture of the Fokker.

All I can say is that I wish that I had the designing talent that the team that created this work of beauty possesses.
Thank you.

In terms of a release timeframe, I am awaiting textures for the metric panels and some final beta test results and I think we will have it all wrapped up and ready for packaging.
Best guess is sometime next week.
Meanwhile, I ask all of you to do some research ... anything and everything you can find on the Avia 57 would be helpful.
Thanks
(sigh) I wish I'd have known earlier. I found several reference materials of this one in my ventures the other day. I'm not sure I can find them again. The 57 has a similar shape to the Spartan. And the Connie.
Email sent, Milton.
I almost forgot. Nigel, your works you've done for the Av51 Tri-Motor, OUTSTANDING!!!
