    That's all folks....

I just wanted to let you all know that I've decided to hang up my paintbrushes and retire as a skinner. In all honesty, I just can't be bothered anymore.

    Cheers,

    PomBee.

I for one will miss your work I have enjoyed your repaints. I hope it's more of a break rather than a complete departure from skinning.

    Thanks,

    T.

When the muse departs, I guess that's all you can do.
Thanks for your efforts, they are much appreciated by us lesser mortals and, we hope, the muse will return again one day.

If not.....so long, and thanks for all the fish...........

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. I hope that I can make a comeback at a later date, but the spark's just not there at the moment. I'll still drop in as and when I get the chance, but the farm takes priority for the foreseeable future.

    Cheers,

    Paul.:ernae:

I think many of us hit a burn out point at some time or another. I took two years off between the Spain campaigns and the 9thFS campaign, and a year off after that one before thinking about doing the 354thFG campaign. So perhaps at some point in the future it will appeal to you again. I'm sure we all hope so, but take care of yourself first. Thanks for all your fine contributions, you will be missed while you are away.

    Hello PomBee

Will miss your repaints - you were also one of those who inspired me to start pushing those damn pixels around. :ernae:
Know the feeling about loosing the interest - had a struggle with that a few times myself.

Look after yourself and the farm (I'm currently staying at a relatives farm doing a bit of clearing for him).
Also looking forward to seeing you back sometime !!!!!!!

    Regards, Seagull V

    G'day PomBee, Love your work!
But I know the feeling. I have only done one repaint (B26) since doing a bunch for Lindsay's P40B and lost that in a meltdown. I'll get back to it sometime and I'm guessing you will too. It's a lonely pastime but rewarding,
    Cheers

Thanks for all of the kind words. I hope that I'll get the bug again, but we'll have to see what the future brings.

    Hi Pombee,

as everybody else, I am sad you decided to take a leave of absence. Thank you so much for all of your contributions, I only hope the CFS2 bug will bite you again in the near future.

I always dedicate more time to CFS2 during the wintertime, during the summer I have a bunch of outdoor things to do around my house, as I live in the countryside as well. After a while, the desire to tamper and tweak the senior sim comes back.

    Cheers!
