Going to try and finally get a set of these out, ETO, and MAW.

Got F-2 and 4, versions including tropical!

Bah, Bf109's are for pussies, real men fly Fw190.

Only thing that could make me reconsider is John's beautyfull paint on it.

It's been collecting dust for years, I just need to sort a set of ETO skins out, worth the wait though, model is superb!

Considering it's not being flown by a midget, this didn't look like a repainted stock model... but that skin is astonishing!

Yes you'll be able to use it in your standard CFS3 install Willy!

Thinking about it, this model is partly derived from Gerard's 109E...I miss him! He would have been proud of your efforts John!

Yea Luca, I think there are a few of us who miss Gerard, a very highly skilled model maker to say the least, but I liked his no nonsense approach to things, made me smile a few times when he cut through all the fluff on the old MAW forum! lol

He wasn't above answering a newbie's questions either! He answered a query of mine a few months before he died - what I didn't know was just how much it took him to do that. His low-poly tutorial (cheers Mathias!) is still relevant today: without any fanfare he directs you to some very efficient ways of building.

Oh and BTW folks, the 109f's been around for quite a while -as a model 2nd only to our MAW Emil --IMHO

...so John, were ya considerin' using that magic paint brush 'a yours to doll up the v/c a wee tad?
