The C-5 is on sale at PC aviator and I would like to know what people that have it think of it. It is half price right now.

I bought it last week. The exterior looks good and it flies okay. I am enjoying my takeoffs and landings. However the panels, both 2D and VC leave very much to be desired. As I indicated in a previous post, they are primitive. Not at all up to payware standards. The gauges are not properly sized, out of proportion vertically and horizontally. The panel backgrounds are not acceptable, look terrible.
I have spent many hours resizing and repositioning the gauges so they look better and readable. I was able to make the 2D BMP look presentable. (I must add that I spend more time playing with panels than actually flying cause I enjoy making panels.)
So now, I am enjoying the C-5. It's a huge beast of a plane, but surprisingly easy to fly in simulation.
