Thread: FSX Screenshots Here!!

A few screenshots I took last month on a couple different fall flights with the A2A Spitfire featuring the absolutely superb repaint by Avi8tor4321, depicting the Shuttleworth Collection's early Mk.V, AR501, the way it looked prior to its recent 7-year restoration.

For some reasons the images that links to my server disappears. OK, here are the images of the Danish C-47A OY-BPB.

    Nice ones as always, TF.

Is there a way to use the i) FSX native model (essential for P3Dv4) with ii) your hi res N500HP textures? Problem as you know is with the rudder textures . .
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Yea the FSX model does have the old mapping of the rudder. Wish I had the talent to convert the latest Howard to FSX/P3D.

Also not flight sim since 12/17 (computer failure) and looking to build a new computer next year so as to get back at using my creative software again.
Watching disappointing reviews of Intel and Nvidia latest attempts. Oh well still probably going for the i7 9700K. Looking forward to P3Dv5 next year.

Right now just going thru my external drive and looking for my best pics to post. Photobucket and Fsfiles pretty much disappeared my pics everywhere.

Willy has been working the Howard for his project, give him a shout out to see what he can do for you. Modifying the tail textures is all that's need. -TeD

    Such a beautiful lines...

This one was bummer, was never released due to issues with the mapping.

Did A2A fix the glass on that model? Mine always looks too white with reflection.

Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.

    Few more Howards!

Well saw a old video of N137U with a black glare shield which my paint doesn't have. Almost impossible to see in pics if you not looking for them.

Personally I like your texture better TuFun. I've been flying yours a few years now and still say it's the best texture for the Howard 500 I have seen to date, IMHO that is! Thank you for sharing your work.

Thank you! One more shot of N4362F I dug up on the storage drive.

In my spare time, I've been working on this one on and off for a couple years (as well as a number of other Mustang repaints I have yet to release). I think I'm finally just about content-enough with it to make it available (and available for three different WBS models). This is of course the Mustang that was owned/operated by Henry Reichert out of North Dakota for a number of years - a new-build/data plate P-51D that was completed in the mid-1990's by Odegaard Aviation and Tri-State Aviation. In 2010 it was sold to the Houston-based "Texas Flying Legends Museum", though as of this year that name/museum is no-more, and the collection is now operated under the title of the "Dakota Territory Air Museum", based at Minot, ND. The authentic markings the aircraft sports are those carried originally during WWII by Capt. Noble Peterson, of the 358th FS, 355th FG, based at Steeple Morden, England. In addition to Peterson naming the aircraft "Dakota Kid", having been born & raised in North Dakota, he also allowed his crew chief to put his own nickname on the airplane too, the "Long Island Kid".

It is so great to have depictions of both of the world's only two flying PR.XI variant Spitfires depicted now in FSX. Thanks to Avi8tor4321 for the repaint of PL983 and to DaveQ for the repaint of PL965!

PL965 is owned/operated by Peter Teichman as part of his Hangar 11 Collection at North Weald, and PL983, a restoration which was just completed this year, is owned/operated by the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford. Both of these aircraft were displayed in the air together at a Shuttleworth/Old Warden airshow back in early September.

Thanks again Bomber12th, love seeing your screenshots! They look nice together, I was fairly happy with the way PL983 turned out in the end.
    A few more,

And finally mucking about with the MK923 paint.
