Let's see them get that vibration in the finished version!
That ought to be an...interesting plane to fly!

I used to see them regularly flying into Northolt. I was also lucky and saw the one that flew into Hendon and became part of the RAF Museum. I think that may have been the last flight.

"Beautifully ugly aircraft," that's an apt description. Mind you, not the ugliest - that prize would surely go the similarly configured French NC211 "Cormoran". While the Beverley had many faults it could pack all kinds of outsize cargo, military and humanitarian, and deliver it where it needed to go. This YT video has some interesting accounts and detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57vVZv8-vKQ

For pallet dropping the plane often flew with its loading doors removed. Anecdotally, a Beverley once took off from Aden with the rear doors off and ATC, who had not seen this type of aircraft before, called out to the pilot “You’ve taken off and you forgot to close the rear doors”. "Yes, thanks, I know," the pilot replied, "I can’t get the bloody gear up either."

That thing looks like a great big fat tadpole... LOL.

Had they been able to configure retractable landing gear for it... it may have not come across as quite so ugly...

    A day with the fleet

It's been several months since I've done any sim flying so decided to spend a day with the Navy!

Imgur is pretty good, and free.

My previous go to was FsFiles v2 but that is apparently down along with OzX and FSStore.

The rotors on your Wessex look pretty good in your screens, are you flying it out of the box or have you made any mods ?

I've never made any personal mods but I've had the Wessex installed that long I can't remember if I picked up a rotor mod from someone else or ifs it's just luck when I took the screenshots. I've still got the original zip file from simshed so I'll compare it to the installed aircraft and let you know. If there's a mod there I'll pass it on!

USAF Pavehawk paint I'm working on for the modified Cera Blackhawk. Needs to be darker and the markings a little more subdued....
